Your Wedding: It’s The Details That Matter

Image

Once the new year has arrived, it’s pretty common to hear about brides scurrying around, trying to tie up those loose ends as they plan for their weddings. Some of them have been planning their big day for a long time. They’ve searched high and low for the perfect gown, they’ve hired the right DJ, they’ve booked the church and the reception site, and they’ve done these things far in advance.

Other brides whose wedding days are quickly approaching are the ones who may have received their engagement rings on Christmas, or on New Year’s Eve, which are both popular times to get engaged. Some of them will wait a year or even two years to get married, but the others want their wedding day to happen NOW.

If you’re reading this post, chances are, you’re soon to be a blushing bride, and you want everything to be absolutely perfect when you walk down the aisle. There’s nothing worse than realizing there are some important details you forgot to take care of while you’re looking at your new husband, trying to concentrate on your love for him.

You know the details we’re talking about:

  • The flowers
  • The decorations
  • The seating chart
  • The thank you cards
  • The honeymoon reservations

When these things aren’t planned ahead of time, or when you’re scrambling to make these plans at the last minute, it makes it really difficult to concentrate on enjoying your wedding day.

But what about the food?

One of the areas many brides and grooms have the most difficulty with planning is the food for their weddings. They want to make everyone happy, and yet they know it’s not possible to make everyone happy. It could be that their family members are dropping hints about wanting to supply the food for the wedding, but they just know that won’t go over very well. Of course, there are always the well-meaning friends who recommend this caterer or that caterer, but when they get more information about those businesses, there’s no way they could ever afford their prices. Not to mention, many caterers aren’t all that easy to work with.

The menu for your reception is a very important detail. If you ask anyone who has ever been to a wedding, they will tell you that one of the things they remember the most about that day was the food. They were either impressed by the selection, the presentation, and the taste, or they were planning to stop by a fast food restaurant afterwards because they were still hungry.

When it comes to wedding catering, the fact is, no one does it better than Sweet-N-Saucy in Big Flats, NY. We provide our customers with a customized planning experience. That means we’ll sit down with you and really listen to your concerns and your needs regarding your menu. We offer plenty of choices too, so you never have to worry about whether or not someone will be happy with the food selection. You’ll have a professional presentation of the food, and the taste will be beyond compare.

It’s your wedding. It’s your special day. Whatever you do, don’t entrust such an important detail to just anyone. Hire a caterer who is experienced in the industry, and who truly cares about the outcome of your reception. Our track record speaks for itself, and with Sweet-N-Saucy providing the food for your wedding, that’s one less detail you’ll have to worry about.

This has been a wonderful Christmas season, and here at Sweet-N-Saucy in Big Flats, NY, we’ve enjoyed a very busy, yet very blessed holiday season!

Today is Christmas Eve, which is the day when most people are either doing one of two things: Some of them are sitting back, relaxing, and enjoying some time with their close friends and families. Others are running out to purchase some of those gifts they forgot about, or that they’ve put off buying. Either way, tomorrow is Christmas, and you’ll be able to give a big sigh of relief that all of your holiday bustling is over.

We have been so blessed this year, because we have enjoyed a wonderful, prosperous year in our new location, here at the Wings of Eagles Discovery Center. It’s been a bit crazy at times, that’s for sure! However, there’s nothing that we enjoy more than helping you, our customers, get ready to celebrate your own holidays with the people you love the most. If you have received a cookie tray, if you’ve used our catering services for a Christmas party, or if you’ve simply stopped by to enjoy a delicious lunch, along with a warm cup of soup during your shopping sprees, we would like to say thank you. You are the reason we love what we do, and you’re the reason we’ll continue to provide excellent food and catering services to the people of the Twin Tiers during the coming years.

It’s hard to believe that Christmas is only a few days away, isn’t it? It sure does seem like the holidays seem to fly by faster and faster every year. Hopefully you have most of your shopping done, so you can sit back, relax, and enjoy Christmas parties and other holiday celebrations with your friends and family members.

However, you won’t want to sit back and relax for too long. Many people wait until just after Christmas before they even think about what they’re going to do to celebrate New Year’s Eve. What about you? Are your plans in place? Do you always have a terrific New Year’s Eve party? Maybe a big party on the last night of the year has become a tradition for you, or maybe it’s a tradition you’d like to begin. Either way, it’s the perfect night of the year to get together with family and friends to celebrate your accomplishments during the past year, as well as to talk about what the year ahead has in store for you.

You might have seen our post on what can happen when you fail to make adequate catering plans during a Christmas party. Without a doubt, New Year’s Eve is the biggest night of celebrations we see all year long. It makes sense to “do it up” right, and only work with the best catering company so you can avoid any disasters like we described in that disastrous blog post

We’d love to supply you with a few of our incredible cookie trays, or even bake some pies or a cake for your family to enjoy. Or, perhaps you’re planning a big party, and you’re inviting lots of people you know from work. Whether it’s an intimate get together in your home, or you’re renting out a local hall to have your party, Sweet-N-Saucy in Big Flats, NY is available to take care of all of your catering needs.
